ABOUT US:

Kipa  10.  Yıl  Anadolu  Lisesi  is  a  high  school  in  İzmir  that  is  known  as  the  pearl  of   the  Aegean  region.   It  is  Turkey's  third largest  city  and  second  most  important  port.  Also,  it  is  an  important  tourism  centre  in  this  region  but  the  school  is  in Gaziemir  which  is  not  far  from  the  airport  but  not  close  to  the  centre. The  students  are  from  different  regions  of  İzmir and  the  majority  of  them  belong  to  families  who  do  not  have  a  high  standard  of  living.  They  do  not  have  a  lot of  chances  to go  abroad  or  to  meet  foreigners  to  get  to  know  the  culture  where  English  is  spoken  because  of  the  school's  location. For this  reason  we  feel  it  is  very  important  for  our  pupils  in  this  mixed  community  to  begin  to  see themselves  as  citizens  of tomorrow's  Europe, and  to  see  Turkey  in  the  wider  context  of  diversity  within  a  common  European  heritage.  It  is  a  mixed  school  with   over  one  thousand   students.  The  students  are  aged  15-19.   79   teachers  work  at  the  school. .  Our  students  are  really  interested  In  working  with  their peers  to   produce  a  common  goal. They  are  really  very  enthusiastic  about  working  on  a  youth  exchange  programme,  they  are  ready  to  accept   the  responsibility  of  working  in  a  common  project  seriously.

ABOUT US:

"Sabbeen Group took existence 8 months ago in Sabbioneta (Mantova) at the initiative of an experienced youth worker, by various nonformal education workshops and coordination and  participantion to Youth in Action projects in collaboration with the local municipality. We have already participated in a 1.1 Youth Exchange in Denmark - "Beat Poverty" and a 4.3 in UK "Youth and a World Beyond Difference" treating issues like marginalization and discrimination. Also, some of our members have participated in local/national training courses on project management, non-formal education tools and methods and recognition. 

We are a group of 19 people, with ages between 13 and 30 years, some with experience or links in the sectors of youthwork and nonformal education. We work together to create a proper environment to cultivate and preserve social and cultural values and life skills through nonformal education methods (Forum Theatre, Photovoice and other) and projects. We work together in close relationship with the local municipality and with other local ngo's oriented on other fields of activity, trying to supplement to lack of youth oriented activities within the area. We are a relatively new group, but we are aiming to establish ourselves as an youth organization in order to fully develop in optimal parameters our activities."

ABOUT US:

We are a group of youth that knows each other from different kind of social and political projects in Genoa, for example via the cultural and sport center UISP . We are  planing to arrange national and internatinal youth innitiatives in 2013. We hope this project will help us to learn about this program, so we can make projects for empowering the young generation in Italy, which is meeting an unsecure future. We support the project with our experience with our experience with youngsters, especially with "special needs" or few opportunities. Also we are used to organize workshops, seminars and exhibitions in Genoa and other cities or villages.

We would like learn more about how to work with and develop initiatives in groups, with youth people from diverse cultures.

This group has not arranged any Youth Extramanages. However, the leader have a lot experience as participants and volunteering in European programmes (YIA, Leonardo da Vinci, Erasmus, Grundvig) and local project.

Monica Vanessa Poggi comes from Genova, she has a master degree in Philosophy from the University of Genova, She worked as an educator for children and youngsters with special needs, Rom community children, youngsters with mental and phisical disabilities. Also she is an educator for "peace games Uisp".

ABOUT US:

IYAC Bulgaria is working together with the non-governmental organization “Sports club Economist” and the Student Council of University of National and World Economy, which have a lot of experience in different projects in the youth field. IYAC (International Youth Activity Center) is a youth organization that works in the youth field in Sofia, Bulgaria. We have developed a very good network of partner organizations in Bulgaria and abroad. In addition, we are working in very good cooperation with the institutions responsible for the youth sector. Public Development centre “Know yourself” is non-govermental organization with aim to promote Jaunsvirlauka parish citizen participation in social activities and to ensure development of civil sociaty in rural area. “Know Yourself” currently has brought together nine local interests clubs, collectively covering all population groups, promoting cooperation and comon interests. NGO ATERNEU from Edinet is a youth association in the Republic of Moldova composed of 30  membersand 40 volonteers The organization undertakes both in cultural, educational, artistic, sports, being involved in many youth projects with an impact on the local communiti and on an European level.

          Modern Youth Public Union (MYPU) is non-govermental, non-profit organization founded in february 2005. As non-profit organization MYPU’s main activity strategy base on grands, awards by different local and international donors. Since the time of the establishment MYPU successfully co-operated with Youth and Sport Directorate of the Council of Europe, European Youth Foundation, SALTO - YOUTH, Globalfund, Ministry of Youth and Sport etc. The main aim of establishment of MYPU is to contribute active participation of the youth of the country in the international projects and the youth of the world in our country, to arrange new projects, to attract youth position at the social works, to enlighten them, to contribute to the solution of problems that community faces, to improve well being of vulnerable population. 

          MYPU is active in different areas such as youth, children, education, conflict resolution, human rights, preservation of the cultural heritage. We believe that things can be better worked out and contributed by the voluntary work. So, we organize voluntary seminars, conferences, meetings, youth exchanges and etc. for this purpose. During more than 4 years we actively cooperate in the frames of the Youth in Action Programme. We’ve organized 4 projects financed by YIA Programme, 15 projects financed by  European Youth Foundation and a lot of local projects financed by Azerbaijan Government. We’ve taken part in more than 30 international projects within YIA programme as partner.

ABOUT US:

MC BIT is the first youth center in the Bela krajina region (SE Slovenia), established by the end of the 2004, by the two most active youth associations in the region (MKK-Youth Cultural Club, KBS-Students´ Society of Bela krajina). It is located in the city center of Crnomelj and joins the Info office and MKK Club. It has been lead mostly by volunteers and supported by contract partners. Our main target group are young people between 15 and 30 years of age. A special attention is dedicated to the young people with less opportunities, especially those with social, economic and educational barriers. 

Youth center BIT´s vision is to create a team, that will efficiently work towards fulfillment of young people´s needs and will consequently encourage youngsters to identify with the values of organisation. 

The mission is to prepare and coordinate programs and projects, that enable young people to spend their spare time in a creative way and to fulfill their educational, expert, cultural, artistic and other needs. 

The program objectives of the organization are following: 

• To encourage active youth participation and European citizenship 
• To inform youth about different topics, connected with everyday life
• To offer adequate advice and to refer users to the suitable institutions

Who We Are?

e-genclik Association is an NGO and a local and national network between young people who are working in youth-led development area and aims to encourage young people to create and act in social, cultural and sustainable development projects. Our center is in Bursa, Turkey but our members are in many different cities of Turkey from different universities or different sectors and working in variety of youth-led development projects.

Our History

As an idea, E-Genclik.Net Youth Platform was constructed in 2003 and since then the E-Genclik.Net team took part in many different projects, works and seminars, and in the last quarter of 2006, E-Genclik.Net Youth Platform was established by young people who are experienced in social, cultural and sustainable development projects. In September 2007, The structure of the organization changed and “e-genclik Association” was established.
